Quality Hospital Bed Manufacturers Gather in Jakarta

JAKARTA, Indonesia (Jan. 26 2016) --- P.T. D&V International Makmur Gemilang, an Indonesian-based medical supply company and hospital bed manufacturer, recently held an event at the Holiday Inn, Kemayoran Jakarta to bring greater awareness to the product capabilities of Indonesian-made and internationally produced hospital beds.

Attended by the heads of nursing from Indonesian’s most recognized hospitals such as RS Cipto Mangunkusumo and RS Fatmawati, the event provided the opportunity for one-on-one discussions and group talks with those caregivers who provide direct healthcare to patients and the designers of the beds in a hospital market that shows expansive growth.

Lauded for its sophisticated hospital beds, LINET is a European-based manufacturer with a portfolio that includes healthcare solutions designed for intensive care (IU), products for standard in-bed treatment, and also special beds for nursing and retirement homes as well as long-term care facilities. Jiri Mlch, LINET’s Regional Manager for SE Asia and Australia was on hand to provide his industry insight in design and new directions as well as market expectations.

“We always look forward visiting Jakarta as we learn something new every trip as the market has new demands just as we have new products to meet those market evolutions,” said Mr. Mlch. “We have had staff training programs with D&V before but this was an opportunity to look at the broader business and to make the most of our close relationship.”

D&V Medika CEO, Dr. Stefanus Widananta, says LINET is maintaining its position in front of its competitors in hospital bed manufacturing. “The company always creates products with innovative features and functions that reduce physical demand on hospital staff and enhances the efficacy of care and patient comfort.”

LINET headquarters, as well as its production plant, are based in Slaný Czech Republic, where it has been located since its establishment in 1990. The plant manufactures around 40,000 hospital beds per year, exported to more than one hundred countries worldwide.

Representing Borcad Medical was Stanislav Klocek. As one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of healthcare beds, Borcad is internationally recognized for its AVE birthing bed. Designed for women in labor, the specialized bed is equipped with a massage feature and specific functions to accommodate woman giving birth.

“It’s always wonderful for us to have our partners visit Jakarta,” said D&V Chairman, Vincent Lianto. “We have a few models of our own Platinum Inspiration alongside Multicare from Linet and Ave from Borcad,” like comparing cars in a showroom, but it’s not competitive like that --- we work together for the best possible outcomes for our healthcare customers.”
